DIY Mini Power Bank at Home Using Cardboard

 



A power bank is very useful for charging mobile phones on the go. In this DIY project, we will make a mini power bank using cardboard and easily available electronic components. This project is low cost and suitable for beginners.

Materials Required

  • 18650 Li-ion battery

  • Power bank boost module (5V USB output)

  • Cardboard box

  • USB female port

  • Hot glue / tape

Working Principle

The 18650 battery stores energy. The boost module converts battery voltage to stable 5V output for mobile charging. Cardboard is used as a lightweight protective casing.

Assembly Steps

  1. Make a small cardboard box for casing

  2. Fix USB port and switch

  3. Connect battery to boost module

  4. Secure all parts with glue
