DIY Rechargeable Continuity Tester – Handy Electronics Tool
A rechargeable continuity tester is a useful tool for checking wires, circuits, and connections. Unlike a basic tester, this version uses a rechargeable battery, making it portable and long-lasting.
Materials Needed

Small buzzer or LED

3V–5V rechargeable battery (18650 or Li-ion)

Charging module (TP4056)

Switch

Resistor (if using LED)

Wires & soldering tools

Small plastic box
How to Make the Continuity Tester

Prepare the Box
Use a small plastic box to hold all parts. -
Install Buzzer / LED
This will give sound or light when continuity is detected. -
Connect Battery
Wire the rechargeable battery to the circuit. -
Add Switch
Use it to power ON/OFF the tester. -
Add Probe Wires
Attach two long wires as test probes. -
Test It
When the probes touch a closed circuit, the buzzer beeps or LED lights.
