DIY Tool Box by Cardboard
If you love DIY projects, making a tool box from cardboard is a fun and budget-friendly idea. It’s light, eco-friendly, and easy to create. With just a few supplies, you can organize your tools or stationery in a creative way.
Materials Needed:
- Strong cardboard sheets
- Cutter or scissors
- Ruler and pencil
- Glue gun / white glue
- Tape (optional)
- Decorative paper or paint (for finishing)
Steps to Make:
-
Measure & Cut:
Cut cardboard pieces for the base, sides, and partitions of the toolbox. (Example: base 10x6 inches, sides 6x4 inches). -
Assemble the Box:
Use glue to fix the sides with the base. Reinforce the joints with tape for extra strength. -
Add Partitions:
Cut smaller cardboard strips to divide the inside. You can make compartments for pliers, screwdrivers, or small screws. -
Create Handle:
Roll a strip of cardboard into a cylinder and fix it at the top as a handle. -
Decorate:
Cover the box with colored paper, wrapping sheet, or paint it for a stylish look.
Uses:
- Store small DIY tools
- Keep craft materials
- Organize stationery items
This project is simple, affordable, and a great way to reuse cardboard instead of throwing it away. Plus, you’ll have a customized tool box made by your own hands!
