DIY Tool Box by Cardboard

If you love DIY projects, making a tool box from cardboard is a fun and budget-friendly idea. It’s light, eco-friendly, and easy to create. With just a few supplies, you can organize your tools or stationery in a creative way.

Materials Needed:

  • Strong cardboard sheets
  • Cutter or scissors
  • Ruler and pencil
  • Glue gun / white glue
  • Tape (optional)
  • Decorative paper or paint (for finishing)

Steps to Make:

  1. Measure & Cut:
Cut cardboard pieces for the base, sides, and partitions of the toolbox. (Example: base 10x6 inches, sides 6x4 inches).

  2. Assemble the Box:
Use glue to fix the sides with the base. Reinforce the joints with tape for extra strength.

  3. Add Partitions:
Cut smaller cardboard strips to divide the inside. You can make compartments for pliers, screwdrivers, or small screws.

  4. Create Handle:
Roll a strip of cardboard into a cylinder and fix it at the top as a handle.

  5. Decorate:
Cover the box with colored paper, wrapping sheet, or paint it for a stylish look.

Uses:

  • Store small DIY tools
  • Keep craft materials
  • Organize stationery items

This project is simple, affordable, and a great way to reuse cardboard instead of throwing it away. Plus, you’ll have a customized tool box made by your own hands!
