DIY Making a USB Lamp Using Cardboard Material

Want a creative desk lamp? Let’s make a USB-powered lamp using simple cardboard and LM

D lights!

📦 Materials Needed:

  • Cardboard sheets

  • 5V LED strip or USB LED light

  • Old USB cable (or buy a ready USB plug)

  • Glue gun or strong glue

  • Cutter, scissors, ruler

  • Paint or colored paper (for design)

⚙️ Steps to Make:

  1. Design the lamp body on cardboard (base, stand, and lamp head).

  2. Cut and assemble all parts with glue.

  3. Fix the LED strip inside the lamp head.

  4. Connect the LED wires to the USB cable (red to +, black to -).

  5. Secure the wiring inside the stand neatly.

  6. Paint or decorate the lamp as you like.

  7. Plug into any USB port (laptop, charger) and enjoy!

💡 Tips:

  • Make the stand strong by layering cardboard.

  • Add an on/off switch if you want more control.

  • Use reflective material inside the lamp head for better brightness.
