How to Make Falsa Sharbat at Home

Falsa Sharbat is a refreshing summer drink made from falsa (Grewia fruit), known for its tangy and sweet taste. This homemade recipe is simple, delicious, and perfect for beating the heat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups falsa (washed and cleaned)

  • 4 cups cold water

  • 4 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

  • Ice cubes for serving

  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Falsa Pulp

  1. In a blender, add falsa and 2 cups of water.

  2. Blend until the falsa is crushed and turns into a thick pulp.

  3. Strain the mixture using a fine sieve or muslin cloth to remove seeds.

Step 2: Flavor the Sharbat

  1. Add sugar, black salt, and lemon juice to the strained falsa juice.

  2. Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.

  3. Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water and mix.

Step 3: Serve and Enjoy

  1. Pour the falsa sharbat into glasses filled with ice cubes.

  2. Garnish with mint leaves for extra freshness.
