  • Basic tools (soldering iron, wire cutter, etc.)


Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Build the Sensing Circuit:

  • Create an LC circuit using an inductor and capacitor to detect the electromagnetic field generated by live wires.
  • Connect the LC circuit to the base of an NPN transistor. This will amplify the signal when voltage is detected.

2. Signal Processing:

  • Connect an LED to the collector of the NPN transistor through a resistor. The LED will light up when the voltage is detected, indicating the presence of an electromagnetic field.

3. Wireless Transmission:

  • Integrate a wireless transmitter module to send a signal when voltage is detected.
  • The transmitter can be connected to the collector of the transistor, ensuring it activates when the LED lights up.

4. Receiver Module:

  • Set up a wireless receiver module to receive the signal from the transmitter.
  • Connect the receiver to another LED or a buzzer to provide a visual or auditory alert when voltage is detected.

5. Power Supply:

  • Connect the entire circuit to a battery. Ensure the connections are secure and the components are properly insulated.

6. Testing and Calibration:

  • Test the voltage detector by bringing it close to live wires or electrical appliances. Adjust the sensitivity of the LC circuit if necessary.

7. Assembly:

  • Assemble the components neatly on a breadboard or PCB. You can house the transmitter in a small, portable case for ease of use.
