This project focuses on enhancing the mobility and safety of visually impaired individuals, without the use of Arduino. Here’s how you can get started:



Materials Needed:

  • Ultrasonic sensors
  • Vibrating motor
  • 9V battery and connector
  • Breadboard and jumper wires
  • Sunglasses frame
  • Basic tools (soldering iron, wire cutter, etc.)

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Mount the Ultrasonic Sensors:

  • Attach two ultrasonic sensors to the sunglasses frame. One should be positioned to detect obstacles at head level, and the other at chest level.

2. Connect the Components:

  • Use jumper wires to connect the ultrasonic sensors to the vibrating motor and the battery via the breadboard. Ensure the connections are secure and insulated.

3. Power Supply:

  • Connect the 9V battery to power the circuit. A switch can be added to turn the system on and off conveniently.

4. Testing and Calibration:

  • Test the setup by walking around different environments. Adjust the sensitivity of the ultrasonic sensors to ensure they accurately detect obstacles and trigger the vibrating motor.

5. Assembly:

  • Once tested, neatly assemble the components onto the sunglasses frame. Ensure that the sensors are firmly attached and the wires are secure to avoid any entanglements.
