DIY Club: Homemade Lamp Using Scratch (Bamboo Stick Lamps)
This is a unique and creative DIY lamp made from natural scratch materials like kano k teelo and khaso khashak. It gives a soft, warm, and traditional look to your room.
🛠️ Materials Required
Kaanay kay teelay (dry grass sticks) / khaso khashak
Balloon or plastic ball (for shape)
Glue (white glue or glue gun)
Small LED bulb
Bulb holder
Electric wire + plug
Plastic cup or small stand (base)
Cutter / scissors
⚙️ Step-by-Step Process
1. Make Base Shape
Inflate a balloon or use a plastic ball
This will be the shape of your lamp
2. Apply Scratch Material
Dip teelay/khashak in glue
Start placing them around the balloon randomly
Leave small gaps for light effect
Cover 70–80% area only
3. Let It Dry
Leave it for 6–8 hours until fully dry
Once hard, burst and remove the balloon carefully
4. Prepare Lighting Setup
Fix bulb holder inside or at the bottom
Pass wire through base
Connect plug and switch
⚠️ Use only LED bulb (low heat) for safety
5. Fix the Lamp
Place the dried scratch structure on a cup or stand
Fix it properly with glue
6. Final Touch
Trim extra sticks
You can spray paint (gold, brown, or natural color looks best)

Do not use high heat bulbs
Keep design airy for better lighting effect
You can make different shapes (round, oval, hanging lamp)
