  2. Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles:

    • Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles use hydrogen gas (H₂) as fuel. In a fuel cell, hydrogen reacts with oxygen from the air to produce electricity, water vapor, and heat. The electricity generated powers an electric motor, which drives the vehicle.
    • While water is produced as a byproduct of this reaction, the primary fuel is hydrogen, not water.

  5. Steam-Powered Vehicles:

    • Steam-powered vehicles were used in the past and are considered a historical technology. These vehicles used water to produce steam, which then drove a steam engine to power the vehicle.
    • However, steam-powered cars are not common today, and they are not considered a practical or efficient means of transportation.

It's important to note that using water directly as a fuel for internal combustion engines, where the energy is derived from burning the water itself, is not a viable or practical concept according to our current understanding of physics and chemistry.

Advancements in alternative fuels and technologies, such as hydrogen fuel cells and electric vehicles, are ongoing, and future developments may bring more environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation options. Always refer to the latest sources for updates on emerging technologies in the automotive industry.
